Strategist/Program Manager

Our client is a medium-sized municipality in South Holland undergoing significant changes, including organizational restructuring, pilot projects, and various special initiatives. The municipality is active in multiple complex (re)developments. Due to workload pressures, the department currently lacks capacity to handle the Strategist/Program Manager - Novex role. They are seeking an interim professional for 16 hours per week for a minimum of six months, with a likely extension. National and provincial policies are driving significant upcoming changes. The municipality needs to clearly map its interests and participate effectively in these developments, but current staffing is insufficient to manage this. In this role, you will: Identify and consolidate the municipality's interests across multiple disciplines. Represent these interests in various ongoing regional and provincial meetings. Play a guiding role in shaping the project, which is still in the design phase, making it a "malleable" and strategic assignment. We are seeking an interim manager with extensive municipal experience, particularly in the spatial domain. You should be politically savvy, a strong strategist, and able to communicate in a pragmatic, no-nonsense style. You must be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and environments.
