Sports Facilities Manager

We are looking for an Interim Sports Facilities Manager for 24 hours per week, for a minimum of six months. The municipality manages approximately 10 facilities, including sports halls, gymnasiums, and other external locations. Serve as the primary contact for users of sports facilities, including gym instructors, sports clubs, and renters. Ensure safe use of facilities and compliance with house rules. Manage keys and ensure timely opening and closing of locations. Attend equipment inspections, follow up on inspection reports, and order replacement materials as needed. Identify and report defects, damage, and safety issues. Independently resolve minor problems (e.g., replacing locks or coordinating with suppliers). Maintain communication with the Real Estate department regarding malfunctions and maintenance. Respond flexibly to ad-hoc situations that arise during facility inspections. You will be the face of the municipality on-site, ensuring a safe, orderly, and welcoming sports environment for all users, including sports clubs, schools, and private renters. We are seeking an interim professional with relevant experience in facility management. You must be flexible, available between 07:00 and 22:00, including occasional weekends. You should be practical, able to resolve minor technical issues independently, and possess strong communication skills, professionalism, and reliability.
