Sales manager relocation for zoo animals

Dear freelancer, Our organization is offering services for the supply and transportation of animals worldwide to zoological institutions, thus contributing to reproduction of endangered species. We do not have animals in stock but maintain a databank of all surplus and wanted species from 4000 zoological institutions worldwide. Our international network is assisting zoos in locating your demanded species as well finding new suitable homes for the surplus-specimens as well coordination transports by truck and airplane. We are looking for: Project-manager: The task is to establish orders for the location and transport of exotic animals between zoological institutions. It concerns: o Maintaining contacts with zoos worldwide. o Applying quotations of airfreight and construction crates. o Calculation of costs of transport. o Sending offers including all costs. o Follow up on offers sent. Qualifications: o Skills for commercial activities. o Reasonable knowledge of English language (speaking and writing) o Experience with telephonic and email communication o Reachable by phone if necessary Not necessary but welcome: o Knowledge of other languages o Interest in animals o Some knowledge of ICT; for many processes we let develop software. General: o Work from home o Payment is partially a fix rate but mainly on a good commission. o Necessary time: around 15-20 hour per week o Combination with our other vacancy (Transport-manager-, 10-15 hours/week) is possible.
