Quartermaster/Program Manager

They are seeking an Interim Quartermaster/Program Manager to lead this process. As the first environmental program, it will serve as a learning experience for future programs, making this a new role within the municipality. The project is 16-24 hours per week for a minimum of 10 months, with a high likelihood of extension. Role Description The program aims to deliver an integrated approach to housing needs while ensuring better coordination with existing area and city programs. As Quartermaster/Program Manager, you will: Lead and organize the process in close consultation with the current Housing Program Manager and all stakeholders. Manage four phases: defining the program assignment, establishing the program contract, developing the thematic environmental program, and advising on governance, staffing, and alignment with the ongoing Housing Program. Pilot the process, shaping how future environmental programs will be structured and implemented. A detailed profile is available upon request. Candidate Profile We are seeking an experienced interim Quartermaster/Program Manager with several years of municipal experience in the spatial domain. Knowledge of the Environmental Planning Act is required, and affinity with housing policy is preferred. You are confident, pragmatic, and have a strong strategic perspective combined with practical execution skills. You are politically astute and able to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
