Interim Site Finance Manager

Beste freelancer, As Site Finance Manager, you act as a Business Partner for the Plant Manager of our division Personal Care in Ieper. You are responsible for the forecasting and budgetting process for the plant. You provide your stakeholders insight in the key results drivers. Your main tasks are: ? Develop in conjunction with the Plant Manager clear actionable plans to ensure delivery against budgeted and forecasted commitments. ? Initiate and drive strategic projects for the plant and build strong business cases for those projects. ? Spot risks and opportunities. ? Drive the Budget and Forecast processes for the plant. ? Ensure ambitious and realistic target setting in those processes. ? Deliver the necessary analyses and reports with their interpretation and comments on budget and forecast. ? Monitor & challenge plant performances on prime costs, overheads, continuous improvement projects, CAPEX. ? Ensure that all relevant result variables are understood by the plant ? Ensure that cause and effect is fully understood and documented in concise and to the point conclusions and commentary ? Provide constant update of this cause and effect relationship through specifically developed monitoring tools ? Prepare a solid financial analysis of new capex introductions ensuring consistent data including the full picture with detailed calculations and a summary of the costs & benefits ? Ensure proper use of company's resources through challenging capex necessity and anticipated benefits ? Consider & refer to quotes of alternative suppliers ? Capture, monitor and control the site capex spend ? Provide post investment appraisals ? Work with the plant team in the control and minimisation of the raw materials, packaging and WIP ? Organise and monitor the inventory process for the plant ? Inform the Controllers of stock at risk issues to be provided for ? Ensure group policy is applied ? Implement controls ? Ensure inefficiencies are reported and action plans are implemented and executed ? Participate to the internal audit process and drive / monitor agreed actions ? Operate as first contact person for (internal) audit at the plant Interesse? Reageer.
