Dear freelancer, We are searching for a company / programmer who can create a desktop program to control a specific test in a Laboratory setting. This test is controlled by pumps and valves. Because the number of tests can vary from 1 to 100, the program should provide flexibility in this scale-up. All hardware is controlled by commands given via a USB connected RS232 adapter and a set of straightforward text commands. New software Recently, a new version of the pump has been released. However, the software for controlling this pump is inadequate. Therefore, a new software is needed, as soon as possible. This software should be future proof - it should be equipped for handling extra elements added to the system, such as loadcells, and it should be equipped for handling different types of applications that use the pump, which are not yet known. The current software is a desktop application (runs on windows 7). The new software should also be a desktop application. However, in the future it might be desirable to create the possibility to check status and control the application remote. Controlling the pump itself is fairly simple and works via RS-232 interface. The software should turn the pump on with a certain speed (the flowrate) for a certain amount of time (based on the prescribed fraction volume) and can switch the pump to a different output (a different fraction).
