Marketing Assistant

Can you help us grow the quality and reach of our marketing platforms to drive engagement and sales for our course? Are you a marketing rockstar who can execute marketing projects? In this role you'll need to know online marketing and my training content front to back. Be able to create and write based on my personality and understand our ideal customer. We are looking for someone smart, savvy, and inspiring to be with us for a long time and grow with the company. You'll report to me and work closely with our Operations Lead, and Social Engagement Assistant. Relevant experience in online and social media marketing is required. . Hours: 10-15 hours a week Location: This is a virtual role. Sometimes we will meet in person I am working with clients all of the world My team: my va is from the Philippines, My marketing team is from Australia, my copywriter is from Belgium. You are from? This will suit someone who can easily accommodate the hours alongside part-time work or other clients. Regular times and days will be agreed upfront. Tasks include: * Working with COO to develop marketing strategy and plans to grow the business. * Copywriting - Production of pillar posts and blog posts for website based on books, existing content and videos. * Coordination of weekly newsletters including planning and production. Working with Me and my copywriter * Writing and pitching articles to print and digital media to drive exposure. * Pitching ME to major Podcasts and Media for interviews. * Management of my Blog including optimizing content for SEO, reach, and promotion of content on social media. ( with our copywriter) * Development and optimization of My YouTube Channel. * Development of MY LinkedIn profile including scheduling posts. * Management of MY Pinterest profile and posts. * Development of new marketing initiatives, ideas and platforms to expand relevant reach and audience. * Create marketing standard operation procedures and process checklist. * Coordination of key elements of marketing production including graphics and videos. Not formal graphic design skills needed. Important Attributes * You are experienced in online marketing and social media. You understand content marketing, funnels and actively follow leaders and trends in the industry. * Copywriting. You have experience in writing blog posts and articles based on an understanding of a specific audience and topics. * Basic SEO - You understand how to tailor and optimise content for search engine optimization, including tags and keywords. * Excellent written communication skills. * You're reliable, consistent, and have good attention to detail. Excellent spelling and grammar is essential. All will be in English * You're good at creating simple systems to make things more streamlined. You don't need a lot of handholding in life. I'm not looking for To be perfectly clear, I'm not looking for a "mini-me" or someone who aspires to have a business exactly like mine. I'm looking for someone who can complement our strengths and work with my team on the behind-the-scenes marketing of our business. You must brings something new to the table, to relieve our workload but there is no outward-facing aspect to this role, your marketing efforts will be to lift up me, my books, marketing content and ultimately contribute to helping more people to join my training and grow.
