Freelance Marketing Specialist (Maastricht)

Dear freelancers, We are looking for a freelance marketing specialist, who will also be responsible for communications and public relations. Marketing Consultant We are operating in an increasingly competitive market place and seek to hire a freelance marketing specialist, who?will also be responsible for communications and public relations, reporting directly to Management.? Assignment? The Marketing Consultant will develop, implement and? measure the success of a? comprehensive marketing?programme for us, reinforce the Institute's desired image and position, and define/create (new) market?opportunities. The terms and duration of the assignment will be decided in consultation. More specifically, we expect him/her to: set up and execute an efficient marketing plan (not theoretical, but a pragmatic approach); regard corporate branding as one of the priorities; enhance sales through marketing activities; look for opportunities and designate events in which we should participate; represent us at events; take care of communications; tailor the promotion of our products to meet the needs of our clients (how to appeal to our clients); direct the staff involved; perform other related tasks. Profile A Master degree (marketing, public relations, etc.) and proven successful experience relevant to the assignment.?Ideally, the Marketing Consultant possesses the following professional and personal skills: demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communicationsand public relations, including internet and social media marketing; some experience of writing press releases, creating presentations and negotiating with media; working experience in an international environment; excellent oral and written communications skills; strong creative, strategic, analytical, organisational and personal sales skills; excellent command of English; second language will be regarded as an asset.
