Dear freelancers, Beste freelancers, Goal of the Function The main function of the Business Analyst / Functional Analyst is to collect and analyze requirements to setup and integrate selected entire customer business processes within the solution architecture. These business process requirements need to be transformed into complete and consistent functional and non-functional requirements and specifications so that the customer car inspection processes can be created, maintained, integrated, and tested. All this is applicable to new and changing customer business requirements and business processes. The IT department applies an agile development methodology. The application architecture needs gradual renewal in combination with the implementation of customer projects. The Business Analyst / Functional Analyst will play a key role in aligning between business owners, IT product owners, internal workforce using the application software and a lean IT team. The Business Analyst / Functional Analyst will actively participate in meetings with international customers and contributes actively in the creation of customer bids. This can be for a specific project or a specific process. All this is done to ensure that our client delivers software that solves business needs and challenges. The Business Analyst / Functional Analyst monitors and reviews the quality of projects continuously in order to guarantee success and allow continuous improvement. Function Areas Collect and analyze functional and non-functional requirements. Create functional and non-functional requirements which allow the implementation of customer business requirements and processes in the application solution environment.with highest quality. Collaborate with the IT development team to define possible solutions to adopt customer requirements and integrate customer processes within the application architecture. Take overall responsibility for smooth integration of customer and our client's processes and applications. Guarantee completeness and stability of customer requirements and identify shortcomings in the integration map. Challenge customers requirements upon completeness and stability. Strive for optimal fit of the customer solution within the existing/target application architecture. Think with the IT-solution team for improvement of the application architecture. Tasks: 1. Create and maintain functional requirements which brings the business requirements and processes to a level that allows the implementation and maintenance of an IT solution. 2. Create and maintain the non-functional requirements which allow to operate the solution in production. The non-functional requirements can be business or operational driven needs. 3. If required clarify grey areas so that the functional and non-functional requirements are unambiguous. 4. Add the acceptance criteria to the functional and non-functional requirements 5. Assess the impact on the existing platforms of the identified functional and non-functional requirements 6. Define and maintain the specifications to implement the functional and non-functional requirements 7. Create and maintain the necessary deliverables in line with the current IT processes and project principles. 8. Support the project team members and other members of the IT team by answering their questions, and assist them in understanding the functional and non-functional requirements 9. The above must be done for all solutions implemented by the IT team 10. Make sure all stakeholders are involved in the above 11. Raise any perceived risks & issues to the IT manager. Escalate unhandled risks & issues to the IT Manager. 12. When modifying existing (non-)functional requirements or specifications, consider optimizing the solution taking into account relevancy and risk Liaise in and outside our client as solution expert/architect - Understand the internal and external stakeholders so that the defined functional and non-functional requirements are in-line with their expectations. - Think proactively. Protect customer against immaturity at customers site and inability to draft complete and stable requirements. - Manage the expectations by identifying the impact on existing solutions and come up with alternatives if required. Ensure bids are supported by the IT department (solution, timing, effort estimation) Tasks: - Be the primary contact person for all the internal stakeholders for the assigned projects and products including bids for custom solutions - Convey the expectations of the internal stakeholders to the IT department - Manage the solution expectations of the internal and external stakeholders, and if required articulate alternative ones - Participate in allocated bids, and take the lead in gathering the solution and estimates within the IT department. Furthermore, ensure the solutions and estimates are agreed within the team and management of Macadam IT - Be and remain the subject matter expert in allocated domains and/or products, and share this knowledge.
