I am a Business & Functional Analyst with several years of experience working at the intersection of business, processes and IT across complex environments, including European institutions, retail and telecom.
My core strength is bridging the gap between business stakeholders and IT teams. I analyse business needs, translate them into clear and structured functional requirements, and work closely with stakeholders, Product Owners, architects and development teams to ensure that solutions effectively address business needs.
Throughout my career, business process analysis and modelling have been a key part of my work. I have extensive experience with BPMN, UML and ARIS, including AS-IS and TO-BE process modelling, process analysis, identifying bottlenecks and dependencies, and designing improved processes.
I also have a strong functional and technical understanding of information systems and integrations. I have worked with REST APIs, SOAP/XML and asynchronous integrations, with hands-on experience using Postman, SOAP UI and SQL to analyse and validate integrations, data exchanges, parameters, responses, mappings and error scenarios. I am comfortable analysing API contracts and understanding the interactions and dependencies between different systems.
My experience covers the full Software Development Life Cycle, from business and functional requirements analysis through functional design, development follow-up, testing, UAT, release and production support. I have experience with User Story Mapping, backlog refinement, acceptance criteria and Agile ways of working, including Scrum and SAFe, as well as Waterfall environments.
I also have experience in data and information analysis, including data flows, data mapping, entities, attributes and relationships, and use structured modelling to understand how business processes, applications and data interact.
In previous roles, I have also been involved in production support and incident analysis, acting as a functional point of contact for application, service and integration issues. I analyse root causes, assess business impact and coordinate with technical teams when development intervention is required.
I am comfortable working with both business and technical stakeholders and adapting the level of detail to the audience. I regularly facilitate workshops, present functional solutions, document requirements and challenge or clarify requirements when further analysis is needed.
