Excel-based tool to forecast our monthly FTE evolution

Dear freelancer, ****** is a rail freight operator headquartered in Brussels. To realize our growth ambitions, we have developed an excel-based tool to forecast our monthly FTE evolution in train drivers on a 3-year horizon, with details per geographical zone. In order to bring this excel-tool to the next level, we would like to get support from an expert in excel modelling and reporting. Information about the excel model: o Actuals are gathered from different databases and are merged using Power-Query o Most parameters are set manually, for each of the key levers (pensions, leavers, hiring, training, supply evolution at 3rd parties, etc.) The objective of the freelancer mission is to improve the model in several ways: o Include historical / actual FTE's to visualize the real FTE evolution o Allow comparison of previous forecasts with real actuals to evaluate model performance o Both for total output as for levers and manual inputs (pensions, leavers, hiring, training, supply evolution at 3rd parties, etc.) o Split FTE's into more geographical zones, with some groups of people having ability in several zones o Need for allocation rules o Replace some of the manual inputs with an automatic link to other existing excel files, o eg. we have an excel overview with arrivals of new employees who have signed to join us between now and the next 12 months o Improve readability of the file for other stakeholders in the organisation (non-expert, at management level) o Translate the outputs into automatic reports, graphs, dashboard To implement the improvements described above, we would like you to work intensively with me (the owner of the Capacity Supply model) during a full week period. Your task is to implement a maximum of the desired changes into the model based on daily interactions and iterations with me. Your submission is expected before Friday 15th December.
