Data Preparation Support for our data science team

Dear Freelancer, We are looking for help to support our team in preparing and organizing data for our advanced analytics projects. As part of our team you will work on delivering high-value data preparation services to clients (data preparation, augmentation, aggregation) and also contribute to testing and enriching our A.I. products. If you have interest to go grow into the analytics and data modeling part of the projects - we will support you! Mission Your primary mission is to support data science team with data preparation/ETL working mostly with Python and pandas. Your key responsibilities ? You will be retrieving and processing raw data for analytics projects (from multiple systems or a data lake) ? You will clean, organize and aggregate data into structured analytics data frames ready for analysis and visualization ? You will prepare data preparation routines for the deployment of machine learning models on a client side. Skills & Qualifications for the job: Must have skills: ? Good knowledge of Python. Good working experience with the pandas library to do data processing. ? Good knowledge of SQL (working experience of writing non trivial queries: window functions, joins etc.) ? Good time management and communication skills ? Ability to understand the business needs and translate them to analytical tasks (related to data preparation) ? Basic knowledge of Git Nice to have skills which are always a plus: ? Basic knowledge of R is a plus ? Basic knowledge of open source BI tools: Dash, Shiny, Metabase etc. ? Ideally you have an understanding of data scturcures appropriate for machine learning. Interest for ML, statistics etc: scikit-learn, scipy, statistical models is a plus. ? Interest for Visualizations: matplotlib, plotly ? Good knowledge of statistics and common statistical models and/or machine learning algorithms used in data science and ability to use them appropriately Who are you? ? You have a university degree and you are fluent in English ? You have good time management skills ? You have persistence and patience, problems must be seen through and technical limitations accepted ? You are able to quickly understand the basic structure of a problem and want to excel in this ? You have the technical skills to make it all come together ? You are able to summarise and filter information, both when searching online and when meeting with clients/ or our client facing team. ? You are able to communicate technical requirements/problems/limitations in clear and plain language We are looking to connect with the right people to join our team and envision long-term collaboration.
