Viorel

Trained as an architect in Hasselt University, Belgium, at the University of Architecture and Art. I was born in Romania, a small town on the foothills of the Carpathian mountain range of Romania, I has always been fascinated about color, texture, light, shadows and forms in the kaleidoscope of nature around me. It led me to believe that the material, the shape of a designed object or building and the spaces within it or around it are strongly connected with the five senses. The dynamism in the forms, the tactility and the tectonics of the object or building, lays the foundation of a good design which can awaken strong emotions in us which also can be seen in my paintings, sculpture work and design. I have worked on various design and architectural projects in Belgium, Romania and India in the field of art, furniture and interior design, product and logo design, Architectural Visualization projects and various projects in India in collaboration with an Indian design atelier. I have also conducted workshop on 3-D development and printing using the software Rhinoceros for the University students. At present I'm a freelancer as an Architectural Designer
