Nice to meet you. I'm St?phanie, 38 years old and... Alright no, erase and rewind. I've no intention to bother you with my age -guess I will always stay 27 in my head- nor with my marital status or details about my home town. Rather I'd like to tell you I'm passionate about sales, marketing & hospitality. Hospiwhat? Yes, hospitality. I can talk hours about the way you want to be treated as a guest in any horeca place, what you can do to make your guest feel at ease or how we can transform your food brand into the most wanted one. Here's where my experience as a head chef & a foodie and my marketing & sales skills meet up. I also claim to be an entrepreneur. I had my own business once. Luckily, being an adventurer is my middle name. I came up with the idea of opening a croque bar. Monkey see, monkey do. In 6 months I wrote a business plan, renovated a building into a Scandinavian looking hotspot and opened the very first croque spot in Hasselt. Of course not without the support of my beloved ones. And with my late grandmother Florine looking over my back shoulder. Being a head chef, I ran my business early morning until late at night. Driven by only one thing: passion. Fate, however, decided differently. One day I hope to be my own boss again. It's something in my blood I guess. I've got that gen from my father, who ran his own business for 35 years, and gave it to my brother and me. When I was a 17 years old scout, it yielded me the totem of 'ondernemende spreeuw'. A title which I'm still loyal to. It's not hard to have a passion. And I think everyone should have at least one. But finding ones passion in a job, that's a challenge of a life time. A quest for me, worth undertaking. I must admit I came a long way. But I was eager to find it and I hit the road. Today I can honestly say my job is my passion and... my passion is my job. I'm working as a happy freelance hospitality helper and as a key account manager for a nutrition company. And I hope to do this for quite a while.
