Our client, a worldwide leader in delivery and takeaway food, is looking for a Backend .NET software engineer. This role will be based in Nieuwegein and will help to grow the markets in Europe, Australia and Asia.
They work on various interesting projects, such as implementation of an online ordering website with payment provider integrations, 3rd party integration with aggregators such as Thuisbezorgd, and the use of cutting edge technology (such as robot ordering, home assistant ordering, etc).
The client relies heavily on cloud based solutions and hosts all their microservices and data sources in the cloud (Azure). Using the cloud infrastructure the online order is placed in one of the over 2500 stores within seconds.
They are looking for a person who likes to learn new things and challenge themselves to improve their skill set. Do you see yourself in this role?
Key responsibilities and Duties
? Working as a team to meet iteration targets within the bounds of the software development and system implementation methodology
? Developing design, test and support and maintenance documentation
? Have autonomy in your way of working and is expected to demonstrate ownership
? Collaborate in an open-minded multinational team
? Assisting with Level 3 support issues as and when required
Qualifications
? Tertiary IT qualification
Tools / Platforms Experience
Essential:
? ASP.NET Core with .NET 6
? C#, JavaScript, Typescript, HTML5 and CSS (SASS and/or LESS a plus)
? Experience with relational and NoSQL database technologies (e.g. SQL Server 2012+, CosmosDB, DynamoDB, MongoDB)
? Automated testing experience using an automation test framework (e.g. Selenium, Nunit, MsTest)
? Experience within a CI\CD environment
Desirable:
? React/Angular/Knockout/jQuery
? Cloud infrastructure experience with Azure and/or AWS
? Any kind of build/deployment automation a plus (e.g. Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Jenkins, Bamboo)
? IOS/Android experience is a plus (e.g. Android/iOS Native, React Native, Xamarin, Cordova)
? PowerShell
