Read Construction Plans & Extract Quantities

We are looking for a detail-oriented freelancer who can help us prepare construction quotations by analysing technical drawings and extracting key quantities. Your role will be to review construction plans (PDF or CAD drawings) and translate them into clear quantity summaries that our team can directly use when preparing offers. By doing this preparatory work, you help us speed up the quotation process and make our estimates more accurate. Typical tasks include: - Reading and analysing construction drawings and technical plans - Measuring surface areas, lengths, and perimeters - Counting fixing points, anchors, panels, or sections - Structuring the results in a simple and organised Excel sheet - Preparing clear quantity overviews for quotation purposes What we are looking for - Ability to read and understand construction drawings - Experience with quantity take-offs, estimation, or technical drawings - Familiarity with CAD or architectural plans - Strong attention to detail Nice to have - Background in construction, engineering, or architecture - Experience preparing measurement sheets or bill of quantities Collaboration - We regularly work with construction drawings and technical plans. - If the cooperation goes well, this can become a long-term collaboration with recurring projects.
