Python Engineer

A world-renowned manufacturer in the tire industry is redeveloping a key R&D application -- moving from MATLAB to a Python-based solution -- and is seeking an experienced Python specialist to drive the project forward. Your responsibilities will include: Architecting, coding, testing, and delivering a completely new system Building a modular, scalable structure with future AI/LLM expansion in mind Collaborating directly with engineers in a practical product development setting Working across the stack: UI, backend, databases (SQL), and REST API integration Leveraging your background in software tools for physical products, equipment, or machinery Details: Hybrid setup: presence in the Netherlands office once a week Start date: mid-October Contract length: 6 months Commitment: full-time If you want to be at the forefront of product innovation and play a central role in transitioning a critical tool into Python, we'd like to hear from you.
