Python Developer - R&D Tooling

A global leader in manufacturing is redeveloping a core R&D application, moving from MATLAB to Python, and is looking for a Freelance Python Developer to lead the initiative. Your Role: Develop, test, and deploy a completely new R&D tool Build a modular, scalable architecture with potential AI/LLM integration Collaborate directly with engineers in a hands-on product development environment Work across UI, backend, SQL, and REST APIs Apply your experience in software tools for machinery or physical product development Candidate Profile: Strong Python development experience, ideally in engineering or industrial settings Knowledge of backend & frontend integration, APIs, and database management Comfortable working in a hybrid setup with on-site presence once per week Assignment Details: ?
