Legal advisor

We are looking for a temporary legal support within the team. The assignment focuses on providing legal advice and support at both operational and policy levels within the social domain, with a particular emphasis on the Social Support Act 2015 (Wmo 2015) and related regulations. An experienced legal advisor is required to handle complex cases accurately and promptly, manage objection and appeal procedures, and ensure legal compliance in policy development. The position is 16-20 hours per week for a minimum of six months, with a high likelihood of extension. Role Description The legal advisor will be responsible for: Drafting, reviewing, and legally assessing process descriptions, policy rules, standard decisions, and templates. Evaluating decisions for legal validity and compliance. Handling and processing objections, appeals, and higher appeals, including interim measures. Providing legal advice to policy advisors and operational teams, such as the Central Reception Desk and neighborhood teams. Identifying legal risks and advising on control measures. Translating (new or amended) laws and regulations into actionable and testable frameworks for policy and execution. Contributing legal expertise to the development of new or revised social domain policies. Participating in ad hoc project groups and internal meetings where legal expertise is required. We are seeking an interim professional with proven municipal project experience. Strong knowledge of the Social Support Act 2015 and relevant case law is essential. You should be pragmatic, with a no-nonsense attitude, capable of delivering practical solutions while maintaining legal rigor.
