Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory)

We are seeking an experienced Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) Consultant to support our banking client in Brussels. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure identity and access management (IAM) solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and supporting digital transformation initiatives in a highly regulated financial environment. ? Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Entra ID solutions for enterprise-wide identity and access management Integrate Entra ID with on-premises Active Directory, Azure services, SaaS applications, and third-party systems Configure and support Conditional Access policies, MFA, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Identity Protection Collaborate with security and compliance teams to meet banking and financial regulatory standards (PSD2, GDPR, EBA guidelines) Perform identity lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), and governance activities Troubleshoot authentication, federation (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect), and directory synchronization issues Provide guidance on Zero Trust security models and secure hybrid identity architectures Document designs, processes, and policies aligned with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.) Support audits, risk assessments, and compliance reporting related to IAM ? Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), focusing on Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD Strong hands-on expertise in MFA, Conditional Access, SSO, RBAC, Identity Protection, and PIM Experience with Azure AD Connect, ADFS, and hybrid identity setups Knowledge of authentication & authorization protocols: SAML, OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, Kerberos, LDAP Familiarity with Zero Trust frameworks and modern security best practices Experience in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in large-scale environments Strong communication skills (English required; French or Dutch is a plus) ?
