Dear freelancer, The organisation The goal of Stichting a ***** is to better society through the use of art and music. Having access to and the ability to freely create art and music is essential to a healthy and positive society. Governments cutting the funding of and support for creative, cultural and artistic policies is a concern of Stichting a ****, and something the foundation fights against. We do this not only through lobbying and advocacy at the EU institutional level, but also through a holistic approach of education and participation. By creating educative and interesting art in the form of documentaries we hope to reach people about the importance of art as essential to a fulfilling life. Stichting a ***** is an international NGO which is now making steps to consolidate its stability in the future, while at the same time making steps to put its message into the world. We are looking for motivated and flexible people to help achieve these goals. Required experience and competencies Stichting a **** is looking for a documentary-film maker who has experience in making either scientific or educational videos, while also having a creative side. We have a number of subject matters that we would like to create documentaries about, all of which have a strong societal influence. An affiliation to the arts and music is important for this position. We have a whole series of educational documentaries in how to use arts more proactively in society. We further have a whole series about educational videos scientific topics, around different subject matters such as how to deal with the corona crisis through alternative healing methods. We also have some documentaries about quantum physics and the use of the new renewable resources, and also about different use of music and society such as with healing. You must have knowledge or experience in one of the aforementioned areas, and be available to start right away. We look for someone who's available for 3 to 6 months if not longer. Location will be Amersfoort, starting date is as soon as possible. We further expect you to have flexibility to deal with different matters involving documentary making such as: helping to find an outlet for the documentaries, find sponsoring for the projects, working from different locations such as a home office, etc. Additional details Our working language is English, but you are required to live in the Netherlands. Internationally minded people are encouraged to apply. Our working hours are flexible and to be discussed. The working place will be in Amersfoort, The Netherlands. Payment depends on your working experience. Only people available to start immediately should apply. Our working situation has been adapted to ensure that corona-measures are adhered to. This means outside meetings should the weather allow for it, and working from home where possible. If chosen to proceed to the next step of the application procedure, there will be a try-out period where your skills will be tested.
