DevOps Engineer

A major financial services client in Amsterdam is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the ongoing development and optimization of their core digital platform. This role will focus on cloud automation, infrastructure reliability, and CI/CD delivery in a modern DevOps environment. Contract Overview Initial 6-month freelance agreement (extension opportunities available) Hybrid model: 1-2 days per week on-site in Amsterdam, remainder remote Start: ASAP Key Responsibilities Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Azure and Terraform Manage containerized applications with Kubernetes Implement and optimize CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions Work closely with development teams to streamline deployment and release processes Ensure scalability, security, and reliability of the financial platform infrastructure Your Background Strong experience in DevOps roles within cloud-native environments Expertise in Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with financial platforms or regulated environments is an advantage Strong communicator, able to collaborate effectively in hybrid teams
