Application Leader/Cloud Expert

The Application leader can implement migrations of existing cloud infrastructures, LAN network infrastructures under supervision of Application Manager(s). Type of work: 1) Migrate the current Cloud Compute infrastructure (OpenStack: Liberty, Ubuntu: 14.4) to the latest maintained release (OpenStack: Ocata, Ubuntu:16.4). Activities: Migrate the solution in the develop and test environment with adaptions of all customizations and intensive testing of the new versions. Develop migration strategy to minimize the downtime and the impact for the production environment. Align with the ITSM Change Process and Release Process. Implement the migration according to the defined strategy. Finalize documentation and close the change process. Train the Services operators. 2) Update the network equipment (Juniper: switching and routing) at the LCL datacenter for Services. Activities: Study the migration approach defined by Services and implemented in the LVL3 datacenter. Define the step by step update for LCL. Align with the ITSM Change Process . Implement the migration according to the defined strategy. Finalize documentation and close the change process. We provides solutions for the community like Cloud Storage, Cloud Compute, Wi-Fi roaming ... Services has an infrastructure deployed in 2 datacenters of (mostly) Ubuntu servers with a network based on Juniper equipment. This infrastructure is monitored by Zabbix. Services uses Prince 2 as PM methodology; ITIL as reference for ITSM (with the OTRS tool), GIT as version control, Ansible as automation engine for software provisioning configuration management, and application deployment. The Cloud Solutions are based on OpenStack, OpenStack/Ansible, ceph. Requirements For 1): Operational experience with OpenStack/Ansible. Advanced knowledge of OpenStack/Ansible. For 2): Operational experience and advanced knowledge of Networking for Juniper/Junos equipment. For both: Acquainted with Project Management, Development, IT Operations, ITSM.
