Android Developer (Freelance)

Dear freelancers, Beste freelancers, What will you be doing? As an Android Developer you'll be closely working together with the colleagues in the mobile app team, the UX-experts, designers, project managers and in a lot of cases your fellow engineers from the web app team. You'll develop and maintain custom Android apps made for our customers and also integrate them with the back-end systems and web apps. You will develop the architecture for the app, choose the right 3rd party SDK's and components and of course deliver the hardcore development. Above all you will be coaching your team-members to get them to a higher level and you take the responsibility to make sure development is done right on your current project(s). What do we expect from you? - You have at least 4 years of experience in developing Android apps - You know how to support the most commonly used hardware en software - You have a track record in lifecycle management and know how to handle concurrency - Android Studio, Gradle, Testing support libraries and build servers are part of your habitat - You've done projects using RetroFit, Butterknife, Picasso, Mockito and the like - You actively follow the Android community and experiment with new technologies and libraries - You have experience in the coaching of team-members - You have great communication skills and come up with constructive ideas - You value your team over your personal ambition - You put your teams best interest before your own - You love technology and are up to date with the latest trends - You are the ambassador for Appamist when working for our clients - You speak Dutch and have a good understanding of English We'll make sure you feel at home and we'll offer you the right support to take that next step in your career.
