ALM Application Specialist

A technology client in Noord Brabant is seeking an Application Specialist to take ownership of their Polarion ALM environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring the platform is optimized for development teams and seamlessly supports the entire software lifecycle. Contract Details Initial term: 6 months (extension possible) Hybrid setup: 2-3 days per week on-site, remainder remote Location: Den Bosch, Netherlands Your Responsibilities Oversee, configure, and optimize Polarion ALM to ensure efficient day-to-day usage across teams Support QA processes and ALM best practices, integrating with related tools such as DOORS and HPQC Automate tasks and streamline workflows using PowerShell or Python Maintain and improve connections with relational databases to support reporting and traceability Act as a subject-matter expert for Polarion, providing guidance and training to engineering teams Your Background Solid hands-on experience with Polarion ALM Familiarity with QA frameworks and application lifecycle management processes Knowledge of supporting tools Proficiency in scripting Competence with relational databases for configuration and reporting Strong communication skills and ability to support cross-functional development teams
