Dear consultant,
We are currently looking for a .NET technical analyst for Bpost in Brussels.
transformation of a huge massive dotnet application (PostStation) towards a SOA architecture. The program (called Revamp PostStation) exists of an important technical track and different functional tracks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Elaborate the detailed technical design, starting from a functional analysis
- Develop application functionality, based on the detailed design, including unit tests, integration testing and documentation
- Optionally, participate in test scenario definition and testing
- Acquire functional and technical understanding in the assigned part of the project or application
- Have a thorough knowledge of the entire development process, the development environment and tools
TECHNICAL SKILLS :
- .NET framework 2.0 and above
- OO / Design patterns /enterprise application dev principles
- Web development (general web knowledge, HTML, CSS, JQuery, asp.net MVC, Angular JS)
- Service development (ASP.NET, ASP.NET webservices, Web API WCF en REST)
- Database development (NHibernate en SQL Server inclusive stored procedures)
- Winforms development + vbscript (hta)
- Service development (asp.net web services, WCF, Web API
- Strong code analysis skills
OTHER SKILLS :
- Working in a continuous integration environment (automated build, unit tests, Subversion)
- Good understanding of version control systems (branching, merging, conflict resolving)

LANGUAGE SKILLS :
- Fluent in Dutch and/or French with at least excellent understanding of the other language.
