Implementing SOx IT General Controls Responsibilities within change & release management: - The version management of all in-scope applications. - Making sure that no unauthorized users have access to the production environment - Writing guidelines for hardening the infrastructure. - Making sure that production and user acceptance environment are running with the same hardware and software specifications. Responsibilities within access management: - Implementation/follow-up access management procedures/process flow for all in-scope SOx applications. Responsibilities within SOx network segmentation: - Making inventory of all SOx in-scope applications and their servers. - Defining which firewall rules need to be implemented. - Strategy design on how to move the servers to the new network segment.
