Used to be employed as a web editor who managed Microsoft's journalistic web service: Microsoft News. This job gave me an exclusive look into a more technical aspect largely undervalued in the broader field of journalism: the inner workings of a more complicated Content Management Systems (CMS) and how to curate relevant content for a broad audience. As an online journalist, this job not only provided me an intriguing experience of how to manage a website and how to curate relevant journalistic content, it also gave me a deeper understanding how to target a specific audience by means of producing content and how to cater to an audience based on concrete data.
