As ICT Manager for the entire BESIX Group (worldwide), my major responsibilities were the alignment of ICT projects with the business requirements (and implementation according), the cost effective follow up of ICT instruments, the reasonable upgrading of the ICT model and to continue with building up an excellent team of specialists tailored to the needs of the BESIX group.
As a board member of Hain Celestial Europe, I was responsible for the European IT on Strategic and Operational level. It did include definition/execution of the Strategy in line with the Hain Celestial (HC) objectives, budget creation/follow up and overall European IT planning. But also organizing and managing IT operations and resources within the agreed IT budget and process/procedure definition (in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley regulations). Handling acquisitions is additional challenge. From 2009 till 2012 also responsible for E-Marketing budget in Europe
Independent Management consultant & ITSM partner in guiding organizations through ITSM implementation projects in order to improve efficiency, performance & capability of IT Divisions/IT Service providers. Promoting process driven ITSM and providing improvement recommendations of existing processes based on audit/analysis. Services: consulting, training, coaching, interim management and auditing. Handled many International assignments.
My initial operation area was Benelux, started as a support consultant, later I became Implementation consultant and finally Business Consultant. After being promoted, I was based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and involved in startup of Asia Pacific business and office. Responsibility was pre-sales, training, consulting and management of projects. At that time I traveled all over Asia for Business development. The company was one of the first to obtain the MSC status (Multi Media Super Corridor) in Malaysia. I handled the company’s largest ITSM® project in Asia to date (PCC-Taiwan). Because of these achievements in Asia, my company granted me the award for Performing under most extreme circumstances.
